Holiday Season in Granbury
The holiday season is finally here! Granbury hosts plenty of events for all ages. There is something going on that will appeal to everyone and will get you in the holiday spirit in no time. November 22nd: Holiday Shopping Expo at Waterview
Who wouldn’t want to get all of their holiday shopping done at once, hassle free? Waterview is hosting a Holiday Shopping Expo, making it easy to do just that! They are featuring clothing, jewelry, handmade crafts, and more. Gift wrapping will be available. Santa will even be making an appearance!
November 27th – 28th: Thanksgiving in Paradise
Looking for an easy, hassle-free Thanksgiving meal this year? Paradise Bistro has you covered! They are offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Reservations are encouraged, and meals will be served from 11AM – 4PM. Paradise Bistro is located at 129 E Pearl St on the square. Give them a call for more information or to book your reservation!
November 29th: Night of Lights Christmas Parade
Possibly one of the most anticipated events of the season, the Night of Lights Parade is held annually by the Historic Granbury Merchants Association. Come early and get a seat around the square because you do not want to miss out on this spectacular show. The event runs from 6-8 PM. Check out the Merchants Association for more details!
December 1st: Big Band Christmas
Are you a fan of Big Band jazz music? This event is perfect for you! The Langdon Center Big Band will be hosting the concert at the Brazos Covenant Ministries, located at 1950 Acton Highway. Tickets are $5 at the door and the concert starts at 3:00 PM. This phenomenal band is guaranteed to give a fantastic concert that you don’t want to miss.
December 7th – 8th: Candlelight Tour of Granbury
Granbury is full of many beautiful historic homes. We’ve all seen and admired them from the outside, but who wouldn’t want a chance to view them on the inside while they’re decked out in Christmas decor? Here’s your chance! With tours running from 12PM – 9PM you have many chances to view these beautiful homes.
December 8th – 11th: The Nutcracker
The Granbury Opera House will be hosting a production of the classic The Nutcracker for a few days this holiday season. Watching this dance live is an experience that can’t be described. December 12th: Mission Granbury’s 2019 Christmas Gala
Mission Granbury serves Hood County by providing resources for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, children in foster care, and families in crisis. Their annual Christmas Gala will be held at the Lake Granbury Conference Center form 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Contact Mission Granbury for more information and ticket prices!
December 12th: Pecan Plantation Tour of Homes
Pecan Plantation is home to plenty of beautiful houses that love to get dressed up for the holidays. Use this opportunity to view some stunning homes during the Tour of Homes! Visit the Pecan Plantation website to reserve your spot. You’ll love this tour!
The Santa House
Have young kids that want to have their chance to meet Santa Claus? Bring them to the Santa House on the square! Santa will be there each weekend until December 23rd. There will be Christmas stories being read from 1-2 and 4-5 each day. Check out the Visit Granbury website for more information!
