Cathey BriscoeMy name is Cathey Briscoe, and I am part of the Briscoe Real Estate. Unlike many Granbury residents, I am somewhat of a newcomer to Granbury though it is hard to believe I have already been established here for over 8 years! Like many individuals who come to Granbury, my husband Jack and I were drawn to the area by the allure of lakefront living. Though it was the lakefront lifestyle that drew us in, it is the people who have made us stay as Granbury's atmosphere is one of a kind. For a little more about me, my husband and I both enjoy traveling, golfing, boating, and meeting new people. We share a passion for our community and enjoy working with non-profit organizations. My career has taken me many unexpected places, and I have been fortunate to have developed an appreciation for many different types of opportunities. After graduating from Baylor University, I worked as a teacher for 10 rewarding years. At this time, I became deeply interested in volunteering and became a member of the Junior League of Waco. My early experiences with this organization greatly influenced me, and my passion for helping others has not waned over time. After working as a teacher, my career took an unexpected turn, and I began working as Director of Public Relations for a Fortune 500 company. I worked with this company for over 7 years, and I really believe this opportunity proved invaluable for me to gain a more complete appreciation of the inner workings of a business. I believe that my unique career path coupled with my educational background have served to establish a great foundation for working in the realty industry.
